Let r be the radius of the circle, then the semi-circumference πr = 5m

so r = 5/π

Then 5/πi is the position vector to the starting point and -5/πi is the position vector to the end point (i is the unit vector in the x-direction)

The distance is 5m, the displacement is -5/π – 5/π) = -10/πi = -3.183i

The ratio of distance to displacement is -5/3.183 = -1.57
