{\bf{\underline{\overline{\mid{AnsWer:-}\mid}}}}

8 m/

{\bf{\underline{\overline{\mid{Explanation:-}\mid}}}}

Body starts from rest so,

u=0 m/s

time= 5s

distance= 100 m

now,

acceleration:-

By second equation of motion:-

 \boxed{ \bf{s = ut +  \frac{1}{2}at {}^{2} }}

 \implies100 = 0 \times 5 +  \frac{1}{2} a \times 5 {}^{2}  \\  \\  \implies100 =  \frac{25a}{2}  \\  \\  \implies \: a =  \frac{100 \times 2}{25}  \\  \\  \implies \: a = \boxed{ \bf 8 \: ms {}^{ - 2} }

°acceleration is 8 m/
