r of circular path = 1 m

distance covered in 20 secs :

= 2 * 22/7 * 1

= 44/7 m

speed of body = distance/ time taken

                         = 44/7 /20

                         = 44/7 * 1/20

                         = 11/35 m/sec

now, distance covered in 5 secs :

distance = speed * time

              = 11/35 * 5

              = 11/7 or 1.57 m  (answer)

hope this is helpful to you !

Given radius of the circular path is 1m
Therefore, circumference of the circular path will be- 2πr= 2×3.14×1 = 6.28m
Given that the body covers the above distance in 20sec.
Therefore speed of the body will be-Distance÷time=6.28÷20 m/sec
=0.314 m/sec
Therefore the distance covered by the body after 5sec will be- Speed × Time = 0.314 × 5
=1.57m= 157cm
Ans:- 1.57m=157cm
