distance =20km
time=20min. => 20/60 =1/3hours
formula
S=D/T => 20/1/3=20×3 =60kmhr

into m/sec.---
=60×5/18
=16.7m/sec.

Its speed in kilometre per hour and metre per second are 60 km/hr and 16.67 m/sec respectively.

Step-by-step explanation:

Distance covered by a body = 20 km

Time taken to cover distance = 20 minutes

60 minute = 1 hour

1 minute = \frac{1}{60} hour

20 minutes = \frac{20}{60} hour

Speed = \frac{Distance}{Time}

Speed=\frac{20}{\frac{20}{60}}

Speed = 60 km/hr

1 km = 1000 m

20 km = 20000 m

Distance covered by a body in m = 20 km =20000 m

1 minute = 60 seconds

20 minutes =20 \times 60 = 1200 seconds

Speed in m/sec = \frac{Distance}{Speed}=\frac{20000}{1200}=16.67 m/sec

Hence its speed in kilometre per hour and metre per second are 60 km/hr and 16.67 m/sec respectively.
