we know that average velocity is=total displacement/total time taken

now let the total displacement be 2x

then for first case

20=x/T1,so

T1=x/20

similarly in the 2nd case

T2=x/30

now average velocity =x+x/T1+T2

putting values and solving we get average velocity as 24m/s
