Hello Mate❤
it's nice to meet uh
here's ua answer :

Let the total distance be d

Then for 1st part,

distance covered = d/2

velocity = v1 (given)

therefore time = distance/speed = d/2 divided by v1 = d/2v1

similarly, for second half, time = d/2v2

SO, AVERAGE VELOCITY = TOTAL DISTANCE/TOTAL TIME = d/(d/2v1 + d/2v2) = 2v1v2/v1+v2(on solving)

Hope It heLps uh

Answer:

2v/3

Explanation:  LET THE DISTANCE BE S.

NOW, FOR FIRST HALF,

TIME,T1=DISTANCE/SPEED =S/2/V=S/2V

FOR SECOND HALF,

IT IS GIVEN THAT BODY TAKES DOUBLE TIME OF FIRST HALF TO COVER SECOND HALF.SO,

TIME,T2=2*S/2V=S/V

AVERAGE SPEED =TOTAL DISTANCE/TOTAL TIME=S/S/2V+S/V

=2V/3 (BY SOLVING)

THAT"S IT

THANK YOU
