a body floats in a liquid contained in a beaker. The whole system is shown in the figure. the upthrust on the body due to liquid is

2) the weight of liquid displaced
3) the weight of the body in air
4) the weight of the Immersed part of the body.​

When the beaker is allowed to fall freely, apparent weight of the body becomes zero i.e. body exerts no force on water. Hence no water is displaced due to weight of the body. So buoyant force i.e. upthrust will also become zero.
