Answer:

  • Total displacement will be the hypotenuse of two north and east sides.
  • The velocity is the time rate of change of displacement. If 'S' is the displacement of an object in some time 'T', then the velocity is equal to, v = S/T. The units of velocity are m/s or km/hr.

Displacement=hypotenuse

(hypotenuse)²= (side 1)²+(side 2)²

(Hypotenuse)²=(24)²+(7)²=576+49

=625

Square root both sides

Hypotenuse=√625

=√25×25

Hypotenuse=25

Displacements=25

Velocity=Displacement/Time

v = S/T

v=25/2.5

v=10

Velocity = 10
