A body hangs from a spring balance supported from the roof of an elevator. If the elevator
has an upwarci acceleration of 2.45 m/s2, and the balance reads 50N. What is the true
weight of the body (g=9.8 m/s2)​

F=ma

N-mg=m(2.45)

N = m(2.45+g)

now the spring balance reads 50N which means N=50 newton

50=m(2.45+9.8)

m= 4.08 kg

your answer is 4.08 kg
