Given:

Charge of Body = +5C

Number of Electrons added = 10^20

To Find:

Total net Charge

Solution:

Charge of electron is given by the formula, Q= n x e

n= number of electron

e= charge of 1 electron = - 1.6 x 10^-19

therefore Q = 10^20 x(- 1.6 x 10^-19)

Q = -16 C

Therefore the total Charge = +5C + (-16C)

=-11C

Total net Charge= -11C
