Given:-

  • Initial Velocity,u = 300 cm/s

  • Acceleration,a = 10 cm/s²

  • Time taken,t = 3 s

To be calculated:-

Calculate the distance (s) travelled by a body .

Formula used:-

s = ut + 1/2 at²

Solution:-

From the second equation of motion,

s = ut + 1/2 at²

★ Putting the values in the above formula,we get

s = 300 × 3 + 1/2 × 10 × ( 3 )²

s = 900 + 5 × 9

s = 900 + 45

s = 945 cm

Thus, the distance travelled by a body is 945 centimetres.

Given : -

  • Initial Velocity(u) = 300 cm/s
  • Time Taken(t) = 3s
  • Acceleration(a) = 10cm/s²

To Find : -

  • Distance(s) = ?

Formula Used : -

On Substituting Values : -

\dashrightarrow\sf{s=300\times{3}+\dfrac{1}{{\cancel{2}}}\times{{\cancel{10}}}\times{{(3)}^{2}}}

\dashrightarrow\sf{s=900+5\times{9}}

\dashrightarrow\sf{s=900+45}

\leadsto\sf{{ \large{ \boxed{ \bold{ \bold{ \purple{s=945cm}}}}}}}

✒Therefore , Distance travelled by the body is 945cm ...
