s = ut + 1/2 at²
Solution:-
From the second equation of motion,
s = ut + 1/2 at²
★ Putting the values in the above formula,we get
s = 300 × 3 + 1/2 × 10 × ( 3 )²
s = 900 + 5 × 9
s = 900 + 45
s = 945 cm
Thus, the distance travelled by a body is 945 centimetres.
