Given :-

Initial Velocity of the body, u = 300 cm/s

Acceleration of the body, a = 10 cm/s²

Time taken by the body, t = 3 s

To Find :-

the distance travelled by a body

Solution :-

As we are provided with initial Velocity (u) accerlation (a) and time (t) we can using the second equation of motion .i.e.,

s = ut + 1/2 at²

so, substituting all the given values in the equation,

➠ s = (300)(3) + 1/2(10)(( 3 )²

➠ s = 900 + 45

➠ s = 945 cm

thus, the distance travelled by a body is 945cm.
