Formula used:
s = ut + 1/2 at?
Solution:
From the second equation of motion,
s = ut + 1/2 at?
☆ Putting the values in the above formula,we get
s = 300 x 3 + 1/2 x 10 x (3 )²
s = 900 + 5 x 9
s = 900 + 45
s = 945 cm
Thus, the distance travelled by a body is 945 centimetres.
