charge on body A = +10 C

let charge on body B = q

body A is touched to an another charged body B for sometime after separating both it is found that the body processes +3 C charge.

so, net charge on system of bodies = (10 + q)

after seperation, charge on body A = charge on body B = (10 + q)/2 = 3C

or, 10C + q = 6C

or, q = 6C - 10C = -4C

hence, initially, charge on body A was -4C

hence, initially, charge on body A was -4C
