intiàl momentum = mass × initial velocity

=10kg × 20m/s

=200kgm/s

final momentum = mass × final velocity

= 10kg×54m/s

=540kgm/s

Change in momentum = final momentum – initial momentum

= 540 – 200

= 340kgm/s
