v²-u²=2as

v=final velocity

u=initial velocity

a=acceleration

s=displacement

IF INITIALLY THE BODY IS IN REST IT MEANS IT'S INITIAL VELOCITY IS ZERO.

s=ut+1/2 × a × t²

s=displacement

u=initial velocity

a=acceleration

t=time travelled

NOW APPLY SECOND FORMULA,

s=ut+1/2 × a × t²

s=1/2 × a × t² (ut is not written because u is 0)

s=1/2 × 2 × 5²

s=1/2 × 2 × 25

s=25m

DISPLACEMENT=25m

NOW APPLY FIRST FORMULA,

v²-u²=2as

v²=2as. (u² is not written as it is 0)

v²=2×2×25

v²=100

v=10m/s

FINAL VELOCITY=10m/s
