From equation of motion 2nd
S = ut + 1/2 at²
100 = 0*5 + a *25/2
100 = 25a/2
a = 2*100/25
a = 8 m/s²
where u stands for initial speed which is 0 m/s cause car is at rest
t stands to total time taken and a is the acceleration
hence required acceleration of the car is 8m/s²
now for velocity(v) we can use 3rd equation of motion
v² = u² + 2as
v² = 2*8*100
v² = 1600
hence v = 40m/s
S = ut + 1/2 at²
100 = 0*5 + a *25/2
100 = 25a/2
a = 2*100/25
a = 8 m/s²

now for velocity(v) we can use 3rd equation of motion
v² = u² + 2as

v² = 1600
hence v = 40m/s
