A body is 1 second after starting the motion, 18 meters from the starting place and 60 meters after 2 seconds. Find the acceleration and initial velocity of the body.​

2. Initial Velocity = 21 m/s

Explanation:

1 second = 18 m

2 seconds = 60 m

velocity = Δ d / Δ t

             = 60 - 18 / 2 -1

              = 42 / 1

              = 42 m / s

1.  acceleration = Δ v / Δ t

                         = 42 / 1

                         = 42 m/s^2

2.  vi = d - 1/2 at ^2/t

    vi = 42 -21 / 1

    vi = 21 / 1

    vi = 21 m/ s
