. A body is accelerating at a constant rate of 10m/s. If the body starts from rest, how
much distance will it cover in 2 seconds?

u = 0 m/s (rest), a = 10 m/s^2, t = 2s

Using equations of motion,

$s = ut + \frac{1}{2} a {t}^{2}$

$s = 0 \times 2 + \frac{1}{2} \times 10 \times 2 \times 2$

$s = 20 \: metres$
