78.5 = 4.9(t)²
(t)² ≈ 16
t ≈ 4s
v = u+at
v = 0+(9.8)(4)
v = 39.2m/s
Hence,
(i) time taken is 4seconds.
(ii) velocity is 39.2m/s.
