a body is dropped freely under gravity from the top of a tower of height 78.4m calculate time to reach the ground velocity with which it will strike the ground ( acceleration = 10m/s^2 )

GIVEN : h= 78.4m , find= t
As we know that
v= u + at
=> v = 10t. .....(1)
now, v² = u² + 2as
=> v² = 2 (10) 78.4. [u = 0 due to free fall ]
v = √1568
v = 40 m/s. (approx.)
now from eq. (1)
t = 4 s.
