A body is dropped from a height of 320 metre. The the acceleration due to gravity is 10 metre per second question mark.

(a) How long does it take to reach the ground?

(b) What is the velocity with which it will strike the ground?​

distance = 320

acceleration = 10 m/s

now using formula

s=ut+1\2gtsquare

320 = 0×t +1/2 ×10 ×t×t

320 = 0 +5×t square

t square = 320 / 5

t square = 64

t= 8
