Height of tower = 20m

Explanation:

Given that a body is dropped from the top of a tower. Its velocity is 20 m/s on reaching the ground.

So we have Initial velocity u = 0, final velocity v = 20 m/s, and g = 10 m/s2

v = u + gt

20 = 0 + 10t

Time = 2 seconds

height = 1/2 gt^2

h = 1/2 * 10 * 2 * 2

h = 20 metres
