Distance covered in nth second of free fall is
S = u + a(n - 1/2)
= g(n - 1/2)
Distance covered in 1st second
S = g (1 - 1/2)
= g/2
Distance covered in 2nd second
Sā = g(2 - 1/2)
= 3g/2
Distance covered in 3rd second
Sā = g(3 - 1/2)
= 5g/2
Ratio of distance covered ==> 1 : 3 : 5
S = u + a(n - 1/2)
= g(n - 1/2)
Distance covered in 1st second
S = g (1 - 1/2)
= g/2
Distance covered in 2nd second
