When ever you dip a body in a liquid, there is always an apparent weight loss. No matter it is large or small but it is always there.

The reason is buoyancy. A mathematical relationship for the apparent weight loss is:

W=relative density.gravitation acceleration. volume

Relative density refers to:

ρ′ = ρobject − ρfluid

So the most important factor in our example is density of fluid(ρfluid)

As density of mustard oil is the highest of the given four liquids so apparent weight loss will be maximum in its case.

Density: The mass of the liquid divided by its volume gives the density of the liquid.

p = m / v

Where,

m - mass

v - volume

Hence, the weight loss is directly proportional to the density of the the liquid.

Reason:

  • If the liquid is more dense, the object immersed in the liquid will experience much more weight loss because of buoyancy.
  • Mustard oil has the highest density among all the liquids here.

Hence, A body is immersed once in mustard oil will experience an apparent weight loss

The answer is {a} Mustard oil
