A body is just floating on the surface of a liquid. The density of the body is same as that of the liquid. The body is slightly pushed down. What will happen to the body ?

So when the body is pressed then the distance between the bottom of the vessel and body decrease so upthrust decreases so the bodys weight increases hence at last there will be a point where there is no upthrust
