A body is made in the form of wedge with an angle
45°. See figure. A ball of mass m, moving horizontally
at a speed v, = V2 m/s. collides with the wedge of
mass M = 2m. As a result of the impact, the ball
bounces vertically upward. Neglect the friction
between the wedge and horizontal surface. The
speed of the ball just after the impact is
(1) 0.5 m/s
(2) 2 m/s
(3) root 2 m/s
(A) 1 m/s

Answer:

According to conservation of momentum,

M1V1+ M2V2= MV

M√2+2m√2 sin45= mv

V=2+ √2m/sec

here is the correct answer please mark me brainliest and give thanks
