A body is moving along a circular path of radius R. What will be the distance travelledand displacement of the body when it completes one fourth of revolution?

The body is moving along a circular path of radius R .
when it complete 1/4 of the revoluion.
then the displacement will be
s = √R²+R²
s = R√2

And distance travelled will be
2πR/4 or 1/2πR
