as he travelled half perimeter thus the the distance will be pie *r
and displacement will be the diameter because it is the shortest distance

Answer:-

Given:-

Radii of the circular path = R

To Find:-

Displacement of the body when it completes ½ of the path.

______________...

1 revolution must be = 2πR

(Circumference of the circular path when R is the radii)

Half of the revolution means it has completed half of its path.

∴ Displacement = 2 • Radii = 2R (diameter)

What happened if someone asked total distance traveled by the particle?

Total revolution = 2πR

∴ Half of the revolution = (2πR/2) → πR.
