A body is moving along a straight line with constant accelaration of 4m/s2. if initial velocity is 3m/s, find the distance of the body when velocity is 5 m/s

Initial velocity = 3m/s

Final velocity = 5 m/s

By the third equation of motion, we get :

- = 2×a×S

=> (5)²-(3)² = 2×4×S

=> 16 = 8S

=> S = 2

THEREFORE, THE DISTANCE TRAVELLED BY THE BODY IN THIS CASE IS 2 METRE.
