A body is moving east with velocity 30m/s. after 10s it's velocity becomes 40m/s towards north. find average acceleration

The answer to this problem is acceleration is equal to find velocity minus initial velocity now here final velocity is 40 m per second at the initial velocity metre per second so there so their difference is 10 metre per second now tell me first second upon 10 seconds is equal to 1 m per second square
