(I) distance =88m and displacement= 28m

(ii) distance =44m and displacement= 28m

(I) we know that :- circumference of circle= 2πr

distance of a circle = circumference of circle

d=2πr ,here r = 14 m

d= 2×22/7×14 = 88m....(1)

we know that displacement is the shortest distance which is equal to the diameter of the circle i.e. 2×14= 28 m

(ii) 1/2 rotation

divide the equation 1 from 1/2

88/2=44 m

we know that the displacement is the shortest distance which is equal to the diameter of the circle i.e. 28 m
