Answer:-

S = 10 cm

Given:-

Radius of circular path = 5cm

To find :-

The displacement covered after half circle.

Solution :-

Displacement :- The shortest distance between the final and initial position of a body is known as displacement.

  • It is a vector quantity.

As, displacement covered by the object will be equal to diameter of the circular path.

Diameter of circular path ,

\boxed{\sf{D = 2r}}

Put the value of r,

 S = 2 \times 5

 S = 10 cm

hence, displacement Covered by the body will be 10 cm.

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Explanation:-}}}}

Given :-

radius = 5 cm

To find :-

Displacement of body of half circle.

Proof :-

Displacement :- is the shortest distance travelled by the object.

So,

Diameter = 2 × r

Displacement (s) = 2 × 5

s = 10 cm

\rule{200}{2}

Hope it helps
