Here is your answer:-

When a body is moving in a circular path, it constantly changes direction and as we know acceleration depends on direction so, acceleration does'nt occur.

When a body moves in a circular path, it changes direction at every aspect.Acceleration is a vector quantity so it dependson direction.And the changes in direction at every aspect prevents it from being called as acceleration.
