Answer:

Total distance = 88 cm

Total displacement = 0 (zero)

Explanation:

Imagine a body starts from point A in a circular track. After two complete revolutions it reaches back at A.

Now the distance covered is twice the circumference of the track, i.e. ,

(Sry I don't have pi symbol on my keyboard)

D = 2(2 pi R )

= 4 pi R

=4 × 22/7 × 7 cm [pi = 22/7]

= 88cm

Now displacement is the shortest distance between initial and final position. Since both are some, there is no change.

That is, displacement = 0

Hope that helps you☺

Explanation:

given,

Radius of circular path = 7 cm

        Distance covered in 1 revolution = 2pi r

therefore,

        Distance covered in 2 revolutions= 2pi  r *2

                                                                 =2*22/7*7*

                                                                 = 2*22*2

                                                                 =88cm

Now,

displacement will be zero because the body come at same point again

      after two complete round.
