Given :
- InitiaI veIocity (u) = 10 m/s
- AcceIeration (a) = 2.5 m/s²
- Time (t) = 10 s
To find :
- FinaI veIocity of body
SoIution :
We have ;
→ u = 10 m/s
→ a = 2.5 m/s²
→ t = 10 s
Now using 1st equation of motion ;
⇒ v = u + at
Substituting vaIues :
⇒ v = 10 + 2.5 × 10
⇒ v = 10 + 25
⇒ v = 35
⇒ v = 35 m/s
∴ FinaI veIocity of body is 35 m/s
Equations of motion :
- v = u + at
- s = ut + 1/2 at²
- v² - u² = 2as

- A body is moving with a velocity of 10m/s .
- It starts accelerating with the rate of 2.5m/s² .
- It's velocity after 10s .
Where,
- v = final velocity = ?
- u = initial velocity = 10m/s .
- a = acceleration = 2.5m/s² .
- t = time = 10s .
The velocity of the body after 10s is “35m/s” .
