Answer:

The velocity of the body after 10 seconds would be 10 m/s.

Given :

A body with a moving velocity of 10 m/s.

The motion of body is Uniform.

To find :

Velocity after 10 seconds.

Solution:

It is given in the question that motion of the body is uniform.

Hence, the velocity is zero.

Since there is no change in velocity, the acceleration is also zero.

First equation of motion states that,

v = u + at .... (1)

Substituting the values we get,

v = 10 + 0

v = 10 m/s

Always first write all know values given in the q, which are;-

u = 10 m/s (in. vel.)

t = 5 s (time taken)

v = ? (final vel.)

s = ? (distance )

Since, the motion is uniform. so the a = 0

==> initial vel = final velocity

So, u = v = 10 m/s

distance covered = v/t = 10 / 5 = 2m.
