v = 0
t = 18 m = 1080 sec
From 1st equation,
v = u +at
⇒0 = 12 + 1080a
⇒1080a = -12
⇒a = -0.011 m/s²
Note, if it is the distance covered = 18 m
then, from 3rd equation,
v² -u² = 2as
⇒(0)² -(12)² = 2×a×18
⇒36a = -144
⇒a = - 4 m/s²
