Total displacement(d)= d1+d2
Now v1=d1÷(t/2) => d1= v1.t/2 …..(1)
Similarly, d2= v2.t/2 …..(2)
now avg. velocity(v`) = (d1+d2)/t
put (1) and (2)
v`= (v1.t+v2.t)/2.t
v`= (v1+v2)/2
