The coefficient of friction is given by µ which is equal to Frictional force by normal force.

Here we know due to friction body is decelerating now the formula that will be used here is

Ma-µg= 0 {Where M is mass is deceleration you is coefficient of friction and R=mg}

Ma = µmg

A = µg

To find acceleration applying Newton’s law of motion

\begin{array}{l}{A=\frac{v^{2}-u^{2}}{2 s}=-\frac{36}{2 x 9}=-2 m / s^{2}} \\ {\mu=\frac{a}{g}=-.2}\end{array}
