A body is projected at an angle of 30° to the horizontal with a speed 30 m/s. What will be the angle with the horizontal after 1.5 seconds? (take g=10 m/s^2)

15°
Take a ratio of the distance traveled in x - axis and y - axis ..to get this

It makes a triangle so tan@ = y-axis/x-axis. .. You will get something 0.86 ...that is 15° . I am not sure about that but ratio is taken in order to get angle .. The particle travels in both the component so TAKING A RATIO WILL GET YOU TO AN ANGLE

hb20032003: No well I did the question again and I got the answer. It is Zero degree. Anyways thanks for the response.
hb20032003: I first found the X-component which is : Ux= u cos 30 and Y-component Uy= u sin 30 where 'U' is initial velocity. So we get Vx= Ux +at = u cos 30+0=15^1/3 and Vy=Uy +at= u sin 30-(10*1.5)=0. Since vertical velocity is zero we get Vy/Vx = 0/15^1/3 = 0

hb20032003: hmm... i don't know the answer to that question but I will try to find a solution.
