A body is projected at an angle θ upward with the horizontal.

a) Show that its trajectory is a parabola.

b) Obtain expression for:

i) the maximum height obtained

ii) the time of its flight and

iii) the horizontal range.​

of projection θ and initial velocity v0 - here 

x=voxt refer to book ; 

rearrange the expression for time  t ,

 t=v0xx

substituted voxx for in the expression 

y=(v0sinθ)t−21gt2

  y=voy(voxx)−21g(v0xx)2

substitute vocosθ  for voxsin θ   for voy

in the above expression. 

Y=(v0sinθ)(vocosθx)−21g(vocosθx)2

 Hence the obtained equation of the projectile is
