Velocity with which it strikes ground remains same.... Horizontally it remains constant... Veryically velocity continuously changes because of acceleration!...

Ur correct option is (A)

Explanation:

the speed with which it will strike the ground will be u but the velocity with which it strike will not be the same nor will it be the exactly opposite. the horizontal component of the velocity will be the same as it was before because there is no horizontal acceleration along along the path. but as there is downward gravity acceleration so the vertical component of the velocity will be reversed but it will be the same in magnitude.
