Answer:

to obtain the maximum range the angle should be 45 degrees

maximum range = u^2 sin 2θ /g by keeping  θ = 45 range = u^2 sin 90/g

we know sin 90 = 1 ,so maximum range = u^2/g

maximum height is obtained by keeping  θ = 45 in formula u^2 sin^2 θ /2g

maximum height = by calculating = u^2/4g

Then ratio of maximum range  to maximum height is  = u^2/g   / u^2/4g

=> 4
