According to tactics, acceleration due to gravity(g) will be always negative(as it is downwards), regardless of the direction of motion.

In this sense,during upward motion,

d= +ve

v= +ve

g= -ve

During downward motion,

d= -ve

v= -ve

g= -ve

THE EQUATIONS OF MOTION CAN BE DERIVED ACCORDINGLY......

THE DIRECTION DOESN'T MATTER AS THE GRAVITATIONAL FORCE ALWAYS ACTS IN DOWNWARD DIRECTION SO IT WILL ALWAYS BE NEGATIVE

PLS MARK THE BRANLIEST IF IT HELPS
