u=25m/s, t= 2s
v= u - gt
v= 25- 10*2
v=25-20
v=5m/s...ans..
hope it will help you..

Rohancv: this is vertically projected upwards not freely fallinf
Steph0303: No in this case the object is going on the opposite direction of projection
Steph0303: So opposite of gravity leads to negative gravity sign
Steph0303: So free fall formula cannot be used. Only equation can be apt
Steph0303: Free fall equation also has same format but no issues as the answer turned out to be same :)

Hey there !

Initial Velocity ( u ) = 25 m/s

Time = 2 seconds

Acceleration = - 10 m/s ( ∵ a = -g )

Final Velocity ( v ) = ?

v = u + at

=> v = 25 + ( - 10 ) ( 2 )

=> v = 25 - 20

=> v = 5 m/s

Hence the velocity after 2 seconds is 5 m/s.

Hope my answer helped !

Rohancv: thank u
Steph0303: Welcome :-)
