A body is projected with a speed of 40m/s vertically up from the ground .what is the maximum height reached by the body ? what is the entire time of motion ? what is the velocity at 5 seconds after the projection ? take g=10m/s.

Maximum height = u²/2g
= (40)²/2×10 m
= 80 m
Entire time of motion = 2u/g
(Time of flight). = 2×40/10
= 8 sec
Velocity at 5 sec,
v = u + gt
v = 40 + 10 × 5
v = 90 m/s
