the vertical component of the velocity is defined by sine of the angle,

therefore,

sin30 = 1/2

and by applying v=u+at

v= 24+(-9.8)*2
v= 4.4

vertical component would be 4.4*(1/2) = 2.2 m/s

angle=30
24×cos(30)
24×√3/2
=20.7
after 2 sec
v=1/2at
v = 1 \div 2at {?}^{2}
v=1/2×9.8×4
=19.4
v=19.4
