Max frictional force f = μN = μmgcosθ

∴ mgsinθ - f = ma

mgsinθ - μmgcosθ = ma

a = g(sinθ - μcosθ)        . . . . . . we can directly use this formula

  = 10(sin30° - 0.1 x cos30°)

  = 10(1/2 -0.1 x √3/2)

  = 5 x (1 -0.173)

  = 5 x 0.827

  = 4.13 m/s²
