Answer:

here's the answer!!

Its trajectory will make angle 45degrees when!horizontal velocity and vertical velocity will become equal in magnitude

In X direction there is no acceleration offered to the particle therefore velocity in X direction Vx will be constant throughout the trajectory

We have Vx= 10m/s

Now in Y direction it is given that initial velocity is zero

Vy= Uy* + g*t ( taking positive Y direction as direction of gravity)

Where Uy is initial velocity in Y direction ( Uy=0)

t is time ( our variable )

g is acceleration due to gravity ( 9.8 m/s^2)

After solving this t = Vy/g

For angle to be 45degrees

Tan( 45)=1= Vy/Vx

Therefore Vy= Vx

Therefore Vy=10 m/s

t= 10/ 9.8 seconds

t=1.02 seconds

Therefore at 1.02 seconds angle of projectile will be equal to 45degrees.
